Hi! My name is Hannah and I’m so happy you want to learn to DIY with me.
This blog is to share my DIY projects and home updates/renovations. I love to DIY everything. Sometimes it comes out as I anticipated BUT there are times that it does not turn out well. My plan is to be open and transparent about my fails (I may even call upon your ideas to solve the problem I’m having).
A little more about me personally:
My husband, Mark, and I have been married for 10 years and we have 2 beautiful girls together.
Mark is amazing and tries to make everything that I bring to him. He knows when I say “Babe, Look what I found on Pinterest” that he is about to build something or renovate something. Sometimes he has to reign me in and help me design in order to make it work for our space.
Now the part that I uncomfortable with, talking about myself.
I am 33 years old and have been a pharmacy technician for about 12 years. I studied photography for a while but I always struggled with it because it wasn’t truly what I loved. I have loved to create things and spaces. I can remember when I was a teenager, I would move my furniture in my room around constantly.
The thing about where I live is there isn’t much of a market for interior design. I eventually lost the desire for being creative and chose the path of a pharmacy technician.
As much as I enjoy what I do as a pharmacy technician, that desire to be creative with interior design never went away.
In February 2020 I had our second daughter 5 weeks early. At the time, I didn’t understand the blessing that would be but just a month later is when everything shut down due to the pandemic. I had already planned to be home for maternity leave just with the ability to go places. Since we were home, I stayed on Pinterest (even during those middle of the night feedings and diaper changes). Thus, my desire to be creative again was sparked.
My hope is to bring you fun DIY projects and inspiration to help make your home everything that you want it to be.
